Natural Dyeing training for 25 indigenous women from the village production and resource centers of Aadhimalai Pazhangudiyinar Producer company took place at Keystone. During the training, the women learned to use plants, vegetables and other biological sources to make natural dyes.
The women learned the art with excitement and studiously jotted the process to remember and replicate. Many of us from the office entrusted them with our white clothes. All of it turned out into spectacular patterns and shapes from normal whites.
The women are eager to learn more techniques and experiment with more sources to obtain new colours and patterns. Hopefully, soon Aadhimalai will be able to produce a new product in the future.
