50 children from Riverside Public School and The Stanes Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, ages 9-15, participated in informative activities at the museum. The event started with a guided tour, focused on the unique ecosystems of the NBR.  After a tea break, next happening was a quiz with questions on the information from the tour. While having lunch, the children watched a group of Kota musicians and dancers perform their traditional art. The event was completed with the children dancing together with the Kotas, laughing while they learned some easy steps.

Special guest of honour was Pranjali Bandhu , who handed out the prize to the winner of the quiz competition. First prize was, apart from some goodies from the Green Shop, a membership in Nilgiri Natural History Society.

The objective was to engage the kids in the issues of their growth environment, and to increase the knowledge and awareness of such issues.
