Keystone gathers people to celebrate food, honey, culture, deities and community in various forms throughout the year. Hosting festivals bring people together from different areas and villages across the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and from around India. Each community is unique and through festivals communities can share their traditional knowledge, rituals, and culture to others. To share traditional knowledge brings pride to indigneous communities, and enriches the lives of those who learn from them.

During the year the communities also celebrate their own festivals with traditional rituals, music, and dance. Their celebrations are often highlighted by Keystone, whose staff take part in many of these events. More information and details about all the festivals in the area can be found in the Indigenous Calendar.
