Continuing Education Support

Keystone Foundation, with funding support from Synchronoss, organized ‘Continuing Education Support Initiative’ to uplift and encourage students from our local communities. This program was planned and carried out by the Biodiversity Conservation Team.

This year, support was extended to 15 students from sanitary workers’ families in Kotagiri and Coonoor towns and the surrounding Village Panchayats. It also included 5 students from single-parent households from our coexistence villages. The inititaive aims to reduce financial barriers, motivate academic progress, and strengthen the confidence of young learners.

The health and sanitary workers from Kotagiri, Coonoor, and nearby Panchayat areas are essential to the well-being of our communities. Their tireless efforts keep our spaces clean, our families healthy, and infrastructure functioning smoothly. Supporting their children’s education is a small but meaningful way of honoring their invaluable service. We also recognize the challenges faced by single-parent families and stand with them by supporting their children’s education.

The event focused on encouragement, empowerment, and equal opportunity. Students were appreciated for their dedication and motivated to pursue their educational goals with determination.

Through this initiative, Keystone Foundation, Synchronoss, and the Biodiversity Conservation Team reaffirm their commitment to strengthening and ensuring that every child—regardless of background—has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

Zentangle Wildlife Doodling Workshop 25-11-2025

As part of the Biodiversity Conservation team’s awareness initiatives, a Zentangle Wildlife Doodling Workshop was organized to help students explore the deep connections between art and nature. The session was conducted by Keystone Foundation and supported by Synchronoss. The theme of the workshop “Art and Nature—Connecting Students with Wildlife”, guided students to observe wildlife more closely and express their understanding through patterns and creative lines.

Through Zootangle doodling techniques, students were encourage to translate their observations of wildlife into artistic expressions, helping them build a personal and imaginative connecton with nature, while appreciating the beauty and uniqueness of different species.

A total of 40 students participated enthusiastically in Alpha GK School, Kotagiri. They explored how simple artistic expressions can reflect the diversity of wildlife and deepened their understanding of the importance of protecting natural ecosystems. By the end of the session, students shared their artwork and expressed a deeper emotional connection with wildlife, along with a stronger awareness of conservation.

The workshop successfully blended creativity and environmental education, inspiring young minds to see nature not just as a subject, but as a part of their artistic journey.
