On September 4th and 5th, a meeting of various community foundations working in tribal areas of Nilambur was organized at Cherupuzha Resource Center, under the leadership of Keystone Foundation. Executive members of community foundations such as Thoduve Community Foundation and GOTHRA (Group Organised for Tribal Heritage Research & Actions), which formed under the leadership of tribal groups, participated in the meeting.

Keystone Foundation Founder Director Snehlatha Nath, Senior Program Coordinator Sumin George, and Program Coordinator Faisal Rehman led the meeting. During the meeting, we discussed the current status and challenges of these community foundations, as well as how to strengthen our activities.

Presently, Thoduve and GOTHRA do not have any building or office. Due to this, Sneh Mam prescribed that meetings, trainings and office activities of the foundations can be held at the Cherupuzha center of Keystone for the time being, until another building is constructed. With this in mind, we decided to prepare an MoU with two community foundations. Both Gothra and Thoduve explained their future activities and objectives, and the group collectively decided to prepare actions plans for this work, for which Keystone will then provide support.
