On Monday, September 15, we organized a training program at the Badal School in Narangapoyil village of Pothukallu Grama Panchayat, Nilambur. The training program was organized for the Forest Rights Committee executive members and Community Forest Rights Management Committee executive members of the Thampurattipotti Forest Rights Oorukuttam working in Narangapoyil village, and various groups working for the development of the Oorukuttam under the Oorukuttam. Training was provided on various subjects with the financial assistance of Keystone Foundation and under the leadership of Thoduve Community Foundation.
Agenda:
- Initiation of activities to preserve the tribal customs in the Oorukuttam under the leadership of the Oorukuttam with the help of Thoduve Community Foundation, Keystone Foundation, and other organizations.
- Formation of farming groups to provide health care to the villagers and to ensure the economic security of the elderly women and young women in the village.
- Conducting the Right to Information Act
