With the help of Urban Local Bodies, we reached out and identified sanitary workers (permanent and contractual) employed beyond our working urban cluster Perinacikenpalayam and Narsimanaickenplayam (230 sanitary workers).
Additionally, 220 sanitary workers from three other town panchayaths (Idikarai, Veerapandi and Gudalur) in the Coimbatore district were provided with nutritional and safety kits during our relief support in July 2021.
Furthermore, our team had also identified families from the same localities who were deprived of livelihoods during the recent lockdowns. They were gathered at the local government schools in their area while following necessary precautions. A total of 130 families have received food provisions kits.
